“CIC is the theatrical, acronymic cure for the winter doldrums, served with a heaping dose of contagious belly laughs.”
~ myrtlebeachonline.com
“Really, it’s somewhat of an understatement to employ the tag line used by carolinaimprov.com: ‘The only place in Myrtle Beach for improv.’ It may be the only place, but it’s also the best, and likely to stay that way due to the enthusiasm and commitment of those involved.”

Whose Beach is it Anyway? – Feb. 17, 18, 24 & 25

An improv comedy show that brings locals and tourists together to laugh at themselves!
In this audience-interactive improv comedy show, we’ll take suggestions from the audience about the funny things that pertain to Myrtle Beach and we’ll use those suggestions to create instant comedy right before your eyes! Similar to the television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” but about Myrtle Beach! Imagine a show about all-you-can-eat buffets, beach stores, snow birds gone wild, tourist traps, traffic jams 17 bypass, 501 and 17 business, a town called Aynor, foreign exchange students on bicycles, time share sales people, bike rallies and whatever else YOU suggest!

This show is an open run in Uptown and is appropriate for all ages.

THIS SHOW IS NEVER THE SAME DUE TO AUDIENCE SUGGESTIONS – YOU CAN RETURN AGAIN & AGAIN!

Improv Comedy Buffet – Feb. 11, 18 & 25

In the land of t-shirt shops, seafood buffets and fireworks, nothing is more fitting in Myrtle Beach than a
“comedy buffet”. The audience will decide what they want to see by choosing from a comedy menu. (No food is served at the theater.) This buffet serves adults ages 18 and over (or subject to parent discretion).

Since it’s improv, this show is never the same because the audience suggestions are never the same … nor are the performers! You can return again and again and always see a new show!

Jokers Wild – Feb. 15

Jokers Wild is all of the fun of a solo comedy act with twice the man power. Mike Ritchie and Kevin Cox form this dynamic duo of comedy to take you on a whirlwind trip inside their minds. The show will start with the guys selecting an audience member to interview and they’ll then improvise a show about that audience member. The fun never stops because Mike and Kevin are definitely not playing with a full deck. Leave your poker face at home but bring your chips. It’s a PG-18 show, so you need to be at least 18 to enter this comedy casino, but 21 to place your bet at the bar. It’s time to go “ALL IN”! Next Show: Wed., Feb. 15 at 7:30pm

Dirty Laundry – Feb. 9

In this long form improv comedy, the players will create their own “soap opera” or scandalous “dirty secret” story based on a anonymous secrets from the audience. Appropriate for 18+ because we don’t want the kids exposed to something dirty … like YOUR dirty laundry. Next Show: Wed., Feb. 9 at 7:30pm

Cupid’s Comedy Capers – Feb. 10 & 11

Cupid’s Comedy Capers - Feb. 10 at 7:30pm and Feb. 11 at 7:00pm

Celebrate Valentine’s Day by attending this audience interactive improv comedy about relationships and love. Date not required. Great for couples or a girl’s night out. This 18+ show is naughty, but not nasty.

Unreal Housewives of Myrtle Beach – Mar. 15

They’re baaaaaack … by popular demand! Mocking the many “Housewives” reality shows on tv, the ladies (and a guy) of Carolina Improv Company return to mock the women of Myrtle Beach in this improv comedy. Bring your gal pals or your date. All will have fun! Appropriate for 18+. Next Show: Thurs., Mar. 15 at 7:30pm

Four Letter Word

For those of you who like four letter words in comedy, you’ll want to check this out! We’ll take a single four letter word from the audience and turn it into a show! This 18+ show is naughty, but not nasty.

Student Showcase Improv Rumble
